I think that Project Based Learning is a great idea. Students commented in the video that they liked doing the hands on projects because they were able to learn from their own experiences and trial and error. I think that under the right circumstances, PBL can be more effective than traditional instruction, especially for special needs students. PBL helps students retain information and build skills, like team work, planning, and organization. Also, PBL is more motivating for students because they are not sitting in a chair listening to a lecture.
