Get 30% off at Borders and Waldenbooks for Educator Appreciation Week

Today marks the first day that nearly all Borders stores, as well as select Waldenbooks stores nationwide, will offer a 30 percent discount to all educators for Educator Appreciation Week, which lasts until Wednesday, October 7.

This special week will also include networking opportunities, activities, and great giveaways, including Edutopia pencils and Edutopia magazine back issues!

How Do I Qualify?

Current and retired teachers, librarians, licensed home schoolers, school administrators, and day-care facilitators all qualify for this 30 percent discount, which applies to nearly everything in stores, including books, teaching resources and materials, music, movies, educational toys and games, gifts, and stationery.

What Proof Do I Need?

To take advantage of the 30 percent discount, educators need only present proof of educator status, which can be a pay stub or an identification card with a current date. (Home schoolers must present their home school certification.)

Pick up the Latest Edutopia Magazine Issue

While you're at Borders, please make sure to grab the latest issue of Edutopia magazine. And if it doesn't have any issues in stock, feel free to ask. This is a trial run, so it'll make a big difference if the store hears there's demand for Edutopia!
