Cool the Earth

Cool the Earth is a K-8 school-to-home climate change program that educates students about global warming and inspires them, and their families, to take action. Through it's main elements of: an educational, friendly assembly featuring an original play presented by teachers and students; energy-saving coupons that inspire kids and their families to take action; ongoing monthly spotlights highlighting an energy-saving action; and an on-campus banner tracking the actions taken and energy saved, the program raises awareness about climate change throughout the school community and is successful in teaching kids and their families responsible, energy-saving behavior.
