Yes. Although the emphasis on school and educator accountability will continue, we will no longer view standardized tests as the only measure of student achievement.
Maybe. Standardized tests will be revised to reflect a broader range of knowledge and abilities so that "teaching to the test" will no longer mean narrowing the curriculum.
No. Teaching to the test will be as prevalent as ever. Obama has made it clear that the government will continue to tie schools' funding, and even teachers' futures, to student achievement as measured by standardized assessments.
