Should schools be allowed to pass marginal students?

Yes. Students on the cusp of passing or graduating won’t benefit from staying behind another year. Teachers and administrators should be allowed to make informed decisions case by case.
No. Education is about learning, not about a grade-level timeline. When students legitimately do not pass their classes or exams, teachers and administrators should not promote them.
No, but there should be programs in place, such as extra tutoring, counseling, or summer classes, that help marginal students succeed.
