School's out! For many teachers, summer vacation comes as a welcome relief from the intensity of the school year. A few months off helps teachers return to the classroom in September with renewed energy and a fresh perspective. But not everyone is in favor of this long respite. Proponents of year-round school, with vacations dotted throughout the calendar year, contend that the absence of a long break promotes student achievement and allows for greater flexibility when it comes to teaching and learning. According to the National Association for Year-Round Education, more than two million students in the United States are enrolled in year-round schools. We're interested in your opinion.
