Career outside of the Core Curric.

I have taught in the Career Technical Ed. Field for 37 years. During this time I have seen multiple students move into lucrative careers with out benefit of university education. The trend towards elimination of CTE programs and arts, in favor of Math, science, and/or Language based curricula has effectively eliminated hordes of students who have neither the desire or funds for higher education in a university. You notice I didn't say they were intellectually challanged, but wanting that which doesn't always need post high school.
