Bullying using electronic means keeping identities private appear to me to be much more egregious than more direct forms. A side issue may be the models many students observe demonstrating bullying behaviors, adults. As parent, teacher, and school administrator there were numerous occasions where other adults attempted to use their perceived status, physical, class, political connections, etc. to force a specific resolution to an issue affecting their child. Frequently, these events were in near proximity of the student providing a model for them to emulate. So activities directed at assisting young people in how to handle issues without bullying should probably also include a range of adults.
We need to teach users that there is another person on the other side of their screen. I believe that much of what becomes cyberbullying could be prevented by teaching digital citizenship. People seem more likely to say hurtful things in a digital format. We need to help bridge the gap in peoples minds between a screen name and the real person it represents.
I feel that cyber-bullying is a big problem. If a child is being bullied at school they cannot escape it when they go home. It is becoming a continuous and growing epidemic. online casino
Bullying is a very bad problem for people. It is very bad when people are using cell phones for bullying and on the internet. On the internet people use screen names instead of their real names. On cell phones they will just prank you.
I do believe the internet does make bullying worse than it originally is. To me, bullying is a terrible thing. The people being bullied don't deserve the critisism they've been getting. The fact that it now is being moved to the internet is disgraceful. I thought bullying face to face was bad enough but moving that to the internet that everybody uses each day is almost a tragedy. The internet has definitely made bullying worse than it originally is.
Cyberbullying is deffinatly worse because everone who goes on can read what ever that person put like bad things such as rumors wich spead all over the net. While in reall it depends on who you tell.
Bullying is a really bad problem for teens. There is nothing people can do about it. Once it starts there is nothing you can do then stand up of yourself.
