Somewhat. Although we don't have a formal mentoring program, we do encourage students to assist one another in various areas.

Looking for info on Middle School Mentoring programs
Hi
My children's Middle School is looking for input from our SEPAC on starting a peer to peer mentoring program. Can anyone send us article or advice on starting a MS peer mentoring program? Thanks very much

Our school's mentoring
Our school's mentoring program for students is not based on formal papers. It is just done via words-of-mouth-encouragement from teachers and concern for 'freshies' from 'senior' students. I really think that it is high time that I make it an explicit activity for our students by working on the papers (proposal) that would spell the details of the 'formal' implementation. Ideas on how to go about it would be commended and credited/cited. Thanks.

Mentor Program
Greetings,
My name is Annette Kennedy. I have recently started my full-time, year long school administration internship at a middle school. For my action research project the principal has asked to get a mentoring program started. I see you have such a successful program I was wondering can you offer advice or suggestions on how I can get one started here at Mac Williams Middle School. Please feel free to send an e-mail to annettekennedy@ccs.k12.nc.us or at annette.kennedy@hypecollaborative.org, or call me at the school 910-483-8222 or on my cell phone 919-721-9328. I am looking to setup this up relatively soon so information you can supply will be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Annette Kennedy

student-student mentoring
I have just been assigned to a student mentoring program in a highschool. It was implemented this year and I have been asked to make it better. I have no idea where to start and would love some suggestions. It's 11th graders mentoring 9th graders and the program is designed to last for two years. Thanks for the help.
