We share evidence-based K-12 learning strategies that empower you to improve education.
I don't necessarily think that new teachers are more effective than veteran teachers, but new teachers do have a different kind of knowledge than veteran teachers. During college, new teachers are taught about the most recent educational research, which is what usually works best for today's children. New teachers are excited to jump into a new career and it shows through their teaching. But on the other hand, veteran teachers have had many years of successes in trying strategies that work best for them. Veteran teachers have to be willing to adjust their teaching styles to reach the needs of today's students. If veteran teachers are able to stay excited about their teaching, they will conntinue to be effective teachers.
