Description:
Since 1977, the Headlands Institute has provided daylong and residential programs in environmental science education in the Marin Headlands, just north of San Francisco, for K-12 school groups. Programs, offered in partnership with the National Park Service, provide experiential and inquiry-based learning experiences customized for a group's needs and aligned with state education standards.
