The Essential Global Village Experience

The Heifer Ranch's Global Village program is a wonderful way to introduce young people to the realities of hunger and poverty which far too many people throughout the world face on a daily basis.

It is rare when a participant of these innovative, interactive programs comes away without a startling new vision of the world or the impetus to enact change.

What about the rabbit? I hope Heifer still includes this component-- it's a highly important aspect of the program.

This was an awesome video which I will certainly pass on to family and friends to watch. I too experienced the global village and it is truly a life altering experience you don't forget. It is exciting to see the number of participants who will also have their lives changed in some way.

Awesome Experience

This is an exceptional program! I sincely hope to have an opportunity to take some of my students to the ranch in Perryville for a week to help them come to understand the benefits they enjoy each day.

Hey I was there!!!

wow this was a really good video.... It was such a great expereince (spelling?) for me and my friends.... I was in the urban slums group who fed the refugies that night. I also went through lots of challanges with my friends, and to see how hard it is for people wh live like this every day breaks my heart. I encourage anyone who cares about these people who live in 3rd world countries to take some time and think about wow what if I had to live like this? it will give you a totally different perspective about the world that we are living in today. it would also be really cool if you donated to the hefeir project... there is alwats someone with a need.
