i definately think boys and girls should NOT be separtated.
girls/boys need to know how to be around the opposite sex.
if they aren't taught properly, it could damage them socially and in future relationships.

i think they should becasue i survey was took and 90% of girls said they were not sexual harrased while boys were in there classrooms.now they reply that they are not sexual harrased as if boys are not in there classrooms.

Single-gender classes

I do not like single-gender classes. In my experience of teacher (18 years), the students need to learn to get along. They see problems from different persepectives and that allows them to feed off of each other.

As a teacher on a team that experimented with this, single-gendered classrooms were not successful. Write-ups and disciplinary actions in the boys-only class nearly tripled.
Boys were constintly trying to gain attention (both positive and negative) from their peers while not worrying about being embarrassed in front of girls.

Single-gendered classrooms are a management nightmare (if you have to deal with the boys).
