Online Learning

Virtual schools make available a world of new courses -- from obscure electives to AP classes -- that challenge students intellectually and open up new doors educationally. And, thanks to the anytime, anywhere nature of online courses, students with a range of special circumstances (from health issues to job or family constraints) don't have to fall behind or drop out.

child protection residential care

The Orphanage is the conceptual design of a hotel surrounded by a playground. In the BC Canada context we could dramatically improve quality of short term care and save taxpayers $18 million per year. Our theme is computer applications. We have a PPP available upon request.

Online Learning Takes Center Stage

The video is very informative, pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of online learning. I agree all learning should not be online. I have had students who were home schooled until high school and although some were well-read and very knowledgeable, some were not. There is also the question of social skills. While some students fit in, other students did not quite know what to think of the classroom setting.
Blended or hybrid classes seem to be a good mix. As the teacher stated in the video, he has the best of both worlds.
