I am pleased to share the great news that Lora Ma, former deputy editor at Time Inc. Interactive, has joined us as executive producer of Edutopia.org. I have known and worked with Lora since the mid-1990s, when she was online editor at Health magazine. Since then, her success at bringing smart, effective content and programming to the Web has made her a stellar producer.

Lora managed the health channel at ThriveOnline, and directed content efforts for Dr. Weil, Alice Waters, and Dr. Ruth at Time Inc. Interactive. She was an editor at BabyCenter and director of content and programming at TeeBeeDee. Most recently, she has been a contributing editor at FORA.tv.

Among other things, Lora is leading efforts to repurpose and make more Web friendly the Edutopia.org archival content (print, video, and interactive), aggregate great education content, facilitate content-syndication efforts, begin to integrate contributions from our community, and oversee the programming of the Edutopia.org home page and other highly trafficked pages on the site.
