Professional Education Networks???

Natalie Steel

I recently read an article about teachers relieving stress and actually being more successful when they were a part of an educational network. (Why Teacher Networks (Can) Work By Tricia Niesz) I assume that it involves teachers getting together on a regular basis to discuss ideas, challenges, or methods useful for education. I actually have never been a part of a teacher network and was wondering if other have had experience with this action?

How do people get it started?

Is there a set agenda or topic for discussion?

How often do teachers get together?

How do you make time in life to even meet togethe regularly?

I would love some feed back on this topic if anyone has experience with networks. Thanks
Natalie Steel
