Hi everyone, One of my instructional goals for this year is to have my 5th grade students make e-books that reinforce elementary science concepts. Have you done this? What program did you use to create the e-books? What worked really well and what would you do differently? Terri Elementary Librarian

I know this is an old thread but you could try Calibre. Its a free download available at http://calibre-ebook.com/ or if your using Mac, the latest version of Pages has the option of converting to and e-book format.

Thanks. I've posted a few places and gotten little response so I'm guessing this is either something not done a lot or those who do it aren't posting where I'm searching.:) It looks like I can download a page turner and use PowerPoint.

It is getting late in the year and there are many other projects to finish so I'll keep looking for more information and schedule this in the fall.

Thanks. Have you used this? Do you think it would work for elementary? The download may be a problem.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for posting your resources. It seems that not many people I know have used ebooks. One place to ask is Twitter.
