CALLING ALL NEW YORK CITY TEACHERS! With the help of STARTL (www.startl.org), a group of technology start-ups in Manhattan are starting weekly demo and community events of the latest education technologies. I am a teacher who became frustrated with the hurdles to innovation, so I've decided to try to create an app that will help students and teachers transform education through their own mobile devices. We want as many teachers there in order to give us feedback and partner with us to make sure our new products are relevant and helpful in the classroom. We need your help to make the best products we can! Here is the page for the event. Tell us what we need to do to improve it! Do you understand the copy? Do you understand the purpose? Are Saturdays a bad day? How can we make this as easy and relevant for you as possible? http://disrupt-ed.org/ Thanks!
