I need your help. I have to be honest, I am not 100% clear about what STEM really is. I know that letters stand for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. I also know that the STEM philosophy is a break away from traditional teacher centered classroom to a creative, integrated approach to teaching. My problem is knowing how to implement this approach in my 2nd Grade classroom. I am currently working at a private school that is very slowly and a bit reluctantly embracing a 21st century approach to teaching. Help me with suggested lesson ideas on how to walk out a STEM approach in my classroom. Thanks!
