Secondary SPED and RTI
I am looking for some feedback on different SPED delivery models at the secondary level. In my area the typical model is a resource room model in which kids have a scheduled study skills class each day and can drop in for help when needed. Primarily these study skills classes tend to address executive function skills and remediate defecits by infusing teaching into work from general ed classes. While it has been effective, I'm not sure it will work as we transition to and RTI model.
What are some of the other models being used around the counrty. Thanks.
