AEPA/State testing
I am curious about requirements in other States. I have taken 5 tests in AZ. Elem. Ed Competancy, Elem Ed Endorsement, Cross Categorical K-12, Severe/Profound K-12, AZ Constitution/History. At about $130 a test with 2 Bachelor's degrees and post graduate studies in Elementary Ed, Mild/Moderate, Early Childhood, and Severe/Profound - I am now being informed that I have to take Additional course work to get my Reading Endorsement in order to do reading interventions and test for it as well as test ECE. So why did I spend over $50,000 dollars for college??? I went to Accredited Universities. If I move will I be faced with redoing it all over again? Do you see this changing?

This has annoyed me too. We
This has annoyed me too. We have to be highly qualified not only in special education, but in every subject we teach. I had to go back and re-learn algebra and geometry to pass the math test, as I am a self contained teacher and teach everything. I had to test on all elementary education subjects. Sigh.
