Modified Block Schedule
According to my principal he is 95% sure we are going to a modified block schedule next year. Does anyone have advice for teaching special education classes on this type of schedule? I work with mostly CD but also have a community based job training program.

I have taught MS sped. with
I have taught MS sped. with students with severe needs on an 85 minute block schedule for 2 years now. I love the longer teaching blocks. It allows me to incorporate my "life skills" education into my reading and math classes. It also allows me the freedom to do community activities such as walking my students to the local daycare to read to the preschoolers during my reading class.
