One of the great ways to get students to conceptualize events and people in history is to create timelines. There are a lot of great tools out now that can help your students create and have fun with these. I would like to share a couple and then ask what you use or what your favorites might be to engage students. The first one I really like is Tiki Toki. http://www.tiki-toki.com/ This timeline generator is visually appealing and easy for students to use. The other one I like a lot is Dipity. http://www.dipity.com/ Dipity is a great interactive timeline generator that is easy to use and free. So, what have you tried? Please share with us.
