In order to help advance our research, as well as promote our vision of what we feel should be the future of learning, FAS has opted for more than a mere academic involvement in the creation of a new model for learning. We are actively involved in the creation of games and simulations that we feel represent some of the best ideas for such models.

Immune Attack 2.0 Development
Immune Attack 2.0 builds upon our wildly successful Immune Attack. We learned from player and teacher feedback that Immune Attack is a fun and very engaging game for students, even those who do not play video games. We also know that many players enjoy Immune Attack outside the school setting, because they download IA1.0 on mygameIQ and spend many hours chasing down Macrophages. But what could we do better? Immune Attack 1.0 Distribution
Immune Attackis an exciting, fully 3-D game for the PC that you can download for free on our site. Immune Attack teaches immunology from the Monocytes point of view. Immune Attack shows you what a surface protein does in its spare time. Immune Attack puts you in the cockpit of a Nanobot and lets you swim with the proteins. We are evaluating the game in 7th-12th grade classrooms acccross the US. Funded by the ESAF.
Discover Babylon (free PC game)
In Discover Babylon, players journey back thousands of years to the fabled ancient city of Babylon. The game incorporates artifacts found in the Walters Art Gallery in Baltimore and ancient texts in the on-line data-sets of the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative. Players interact with fictional characters and real objects from three different eras in history and the present day in order to solve a series of challenges. In the process they absorb historical information and became more familiar with museum and library resources. Download the game and read more here.
