This edition of Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School is a focus issue devoted to using technology in the math classroom. I just received mine yesterday and it looks like it is full of great ideas. I'd love to hear from any group members who have tried similar ideas in their classrooms.

I am extremely interested in mathematics education in the middle school.
Our Web-based Mathematics Education (WME) project brings together an
interdisciplinary research team to create innovative math lessons on
the Web to aid middle school teachers and kids to teach/learn math.

See our project site: http://wme.cs.kent.edu

We had worked with a local middle school, Kimpton Middle School in
Stow, for a nubmer of years.

The site we used can be found at

http://wme.cs.kent.edu/kimpton/

If anyone wishes to try the materials in the classroom, you are
free to do so. Your feedback would be very welcome. Drop me a
line if you have questions or comments.
