Project learning can inspire the best of high-performance teamwork, or it can be devolve into unfocused chaos. How can we support each other to keep our eye on the prize? Share your project ideas, questions, and implementation experiences.

PBL Global #Mentors4Kids

Tammy G. Parks

High school wide PBL is transforming the learning environment at Howe High School, a small, rural school in southeastern Oklahoma. All 147 students (9th-12th grades) are participating in 10 weeks of PBL. Our driving question "How can I make my school better?" We would like to pair each team with a mentor outside our town to foster global collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills while adding another layer of authenticity to this project. What do we need from you? An occasional contact with your team, via video or email to encourage our students to produce their best work possible. Let's take #comments4kids one step further, how about #mentors4kids? Thank you for your interest in our project, we look forward to our future collaboration.
