Hi there, I am a 5th grade science teacher in Texas, and we are doing a project on the Gulf Coast Oil Spill. We would like to establish correspondence with students of a similar age that have personal experience with the oil spill. Our students are researching the effect of the oil spill on ocean animals and the coastline, but any additional information about how the oil spill affected local businesses, etc. would be great. We would also like to discuss how the oil spill is still affecting the area today. Is anyone interested? Thanks! Any help is appreciated!
