Quite a few math and social studies standards focus on information literacy. For example, the NCTM (math) Focal Points say students are to "make sense of statistical data by representing the important features of a data set and the relationships between data sets." How better to accomplish this than through PBL, where real-life, messy, multiple-factor investigations go on? I've recently taken a deep dive into infographics and would like to share what I've learned and hear how you approach visual and information literacy.
