This rocks, Karen! Campers, if you have ANY tech questions, take advantage of this opportunity. It's SO easy to use. Click on the link above, and connect with our Tech Queen.

Egads! My personal wiki page is in the tutorials folder and I cannot move it to the PBLCampers folder. :P

Don't worry--we'll move it to the right folder for you. Glad to see you joining the wiki.

Hi!
I'm a bit confused on how to connect to specific people. My inbox is overloaded with pblcamp updates of all sorts. I read/scanned each one and then went to the url of the ones that interested me. That part is a bit overwhelming.

Also, I don't know how to respond to people who address me in those emails. I went to the url and write a comment in that box, but I'm not sure the people got it. Am I better off emailing directly?

I'm bookmarking all sorts of interesting things, but I'm not sure how to deal with the information. I don't think I'm using my wiki efficiently.

I guess I need a little hand-holding here. Thanks.

Corby

Hi Corby,
Here are a couple ideas that might help:
1) For connecting with other PBL Campers, I'd suggest starting with private messaging in the Edutopia community. From there, you may decide to exchange emails or phone #s if you want to team up on a project--but your conversations won't be visible to anyone else.
2) And now for making sense of all those great resources you're finding. Do you have the glimmer of a project idea yet? Or still thinking pretty broadly? If you want some inspiration, you might explore the list of Driving Questions that campers are posting in the wiki. As you narrow your focus, you'll have a better idea of which resources will be most useful to you now. (I always bookmark way too much stuff--but figure it'll all come in handy someday!)
3) Hope you can join the Twitter chat today. It'll offer you another chance to connect with other campers and ask questions. If you can't make it (starts at 1 p.m. PDT), don't worry--we'll archive it all.
Good luck!
~Suzie

Hi Karen,

Just need the address link for today's webinar - unless we're working totally from Twitter.

Gail - who wasn't with you for last week's kickoff

Opps, sorry, didn't mean to spam you. Didn't realize my first comment posted (since I was not yet logged in).

Hi Gail:

Sorry...just getting home from errands and running a bit late. We seem to be working from twitter today, using TweetChat and the hashtag #pblcamp.
Here's the link for the room: http://tweetchat.com/room/pblcamp

Hi Candy!

First of all, you were definitely NOT alone today. I saw a number of posts from people who were having trouble following the chat. Twitter can be overwhelming...just take it at your own pace. I haven't looked at the Tutorial section on the wiki, so I'm not sure what's in there in regards to Twitter but I'll check it out and see if there's anything I can add.

I think I'll do a quick blog post with the resources I have for twitter. Maybe that will help. I also gave a presentation earlier this year that included information on Twitter. You can find those resources here:

Are there specific questions that I can help you with?

Karen
