I can't connect my wiki to the PBL campers section?  I followed the directions, but when I get set to add my name, my name doesn't show among the other campers.

Anna...I'm looking at it now. You are currently editing the page. What happens when you try to type your name in the "A" section?

Boy I must really be dumb.  I can't even get into the camp site to start on the assignments.

Repeat after me..."I am an intelligent human being who loves to learn new stuff! Even tech-stuff!"  :)

First, you'll need a PBWorks account before you can log into the camp website. Then you log into http://pblcamp.pbworks.com using THAT information. Make sense so far?

Oh I think I understand. You need to have two accounts. One for Edutopia.org (the one I changed the password on) and a separate one for the wiki.

Seeing this post here is good - I know you got in here.

To create a separate account for the wiki, go to http://pblcamp.pbworks.com and click "create an account" in the right hand column. That should set you up!

My question is along the same lines. I am following the tutorial; even set up a pbworks account.......but when I get to step 5 under part 1: create your page, I pull down the bar under NEW and I see the create a new page link, but it is not bold (if that makes sense) and when I click on it, nothing happens.

Hi Diane - Yes, makes perfect sense. So "create a page" isn't bold or highlighted which means you won't be able to select it. You may have signed out of your PBWorks account. Be sure that you are signed in when you try to create a new page. You'll know you're signed in when you see your name in the top right-hand corner of the window, above "Search this workspace."

Does that help?

Here it is Friday and the PBL Camp assignments are due by Monday. And what have I checked off as completed? brainstorm the question? I think I did that under grade 3-5. PBL Camp wiki - Nope because the drop-down window won't let me select "create a new account". Set up a Twitter.com account - Yup, use Tweetchat.com to find #pblcamp - Where the heck is that? Set up a Delicous.com account - I am not sure - I'm not sure - it keeps taking me to Yahoo. Monday is only three days away and I don't know what I am doing. I sure hope there is somebody out there who can help me. PS. I do Skype if seeing what I am "not doing" would help.

Hi Everyone! If anyone has a tech question today, I've set up a place we can chat "real time." It's a site called Sync.in, a great way to collaborate with other teachers, friends, students, whoever. There is a document part to the window and a chat portion. Feel free to add your question to either place.

I'll keep it open as long as my eyes stay open tonight. Please stop by and let me help you get set up.
