Engage students in PBL through the World Savvy Challenge this year!

Charmagne Campbell-Patton Program Manager at World Savvy

The World Savvy Challenge is a project-based learning program for middle and high school students. If you are looking for a way to engage your students in PBL to build their global competency this year, I encourage you to take a look at this program and how it might work in your class. The topic this year is Sustainable Communities, and can be integrated into any subject matter. Students conduct research on this topic, choose a specific issue to focus on and identify a problem that impacts several communities around the world. They then explore the root causes of this problem and develop solutions locally, nationally and globally. They also develop a knowledge-to-action plan for how they can become part of the solution they identified. Registration for this unique and engaging program is open now through November 15th, with early bird rates available through October 15th. Learn more at If you have questions, email me at charmagne at worldsavvy dot org.
