I know some other people have talked about how valuable google docs is as an online tool, but I thought that I might start another one specifically based on Google Moderator, considering that it's been getting a fair amount of attention lately.
For those of you who don't know (and I was one of them until yesterday!), Google Moderator is an online tool that helps people determine which questions are the most important, or which ones should be asked of a particular person. I guess that's where the name comes from: it moderates the discussion.
Apparently, the Obama administration has used it a lot in the past. Here's a link to an article about it: http://techcrunch.com/2009/03/24/white-house-using-google-moderator-for-...
And here's a link to the google moderator site: http://www.google.com/moderator/#0
My question is: who's using it in schools? What for? How have you found it?
I can see immediate applications for student councils, as well as other kinds of things, but let's hear from the rest of you.
