I'm new to Twitter and to Edutopia. I just read the transcript of this chat and loved it! I teach preservice teachers and they always say the following statement is my signature line: "All learning takes risks and kids won't take risk if they don't feel cared for and safe." Although this statement speaks to the importance of the student/teacher relationship, I also believe building relationships with all key constituents is essential to one's success. Thanks for hosting such an interesting chat. I hope to join in on one someday soon.
