New Teacher Tag
I would love to see a new teacher tag and chat start up on Twitter. I think there are a growing number of pre-service and new teachers utilizing social media to support their own professional learning.
I have used #NewTeach in the past to populate my New Teacher group on http://MissouriEd.ning.com and I don't think anyone else is using it. Maybe others have better tag suggestions though.

Hi All!
Celine and Steve...So encouraged at your interest in a new teacher chat. Plans are already in motion to launch the New Teacher Chat which will be under this hastag~>#ntchat. We will be launching in May in honor of Day of the Teacher. Day and time to be posted soon. We will also archive here on Edutopia. We will be doing a twtpoll for topics but also want to generate ideas from our group here. Be thinking of chat topics that you would like to see discussed. Also help me spread the word to your colleagues. It's going to be fun! Stay tuned for that discussion post coming soon.
