The first years of practice can be a time of great hope and exhilaration -- and fatigue and anxiety. This group is designed to allow new teachers and veterans alike to connect and share that sense of community that is so important in the first years.

Advice from Character Education Partnership: Create a Positive Classroom Culture

Character Education Partnership Leading a National Call to Character

Hi, New Teachers!

At CEP, we exist to help teachers do their best to be effective in educating their students academically, socially, emotionally, ethically, and morally... educating the whole child. Teachers have found that once they set the foundation for their classroom climate to be a positive one where all students feel respected and capable of learning, the rest follows naturally.

Check out our website www.character.org for resources and lesson plans (http://www.character.org/lessons/lesson-plans/) and watch this video from Blue Ribbon and National School of Character principal Scott Taylor: http://youtu.be/CM8DoWIHvTQ.

We're here to help!
