The Digital Divide is Still A Problem
Vic Sutton and I are part of two teacher groups and we work the digital divide and social justice areas.
We have just been to a lot of high tech workshops which prompted this blog on the continuing digital divide.

Fully agree, digital divide is still an issue
Hi Bonnie:
Digital divide is an issue, not only in the US, but in the rest of the world. Over 2/3 of the global population is still not connected, and even in Europe most of the countries do not have a penetration above 70%. My blog, Intelligent Inclusion, is also focusing on the importance of connectivity for learning. Initiatives, like Kahn Academy, are making a difference, and we need to secure that more people have access to it. Check the post, http://intelligentinclusion.com/2012/06/remote-learning-done-properly-ka... . Cheers, Caetano
