User Generated Content and STEM

Librarians, Gunn LIbrary in Palo Alto, CA is hosting an online STEM video competition called STEM Slam. Students in grades K-12 are encouraged to create short, funny or entertaining videos demonstrating how they can use a STEM skill in their lives. This is not only a fun and engaging culminating activity for your teachers, but a tremendous opportunity to showcase the user-generated content of our communities and teach about using copyright friendly media.
