Milton Chen. our Executive Director Emeritus & Author of "Education Nation," (not related to NBC's Summit) was on a panel yesterday. Unfortunately it wasn't streamed/televised.

You're right though - in general the panels were all full of big names not the people in the trenches.

How are going to support the home life of a child? Parent Education? Also, in my opinion, in order to change the culture of education it needs to cross the borders of a school. I'm not talking about globalization. I'm talking about Service Learning. We are all focused on the global market, but children can't name more than three types of wildlife in their backyard.
