It is very important to prepare students for differnt transition that they face in school such as transitioning from school levels to school levels. Elementary is very differnet from middle schoo, the way that students are look upon and the way that their hands are held is different. Students are still yound babies when leaving elementary they are still doing coloring worksheets, definding numbers, alphabets, and still having recess. The elementary years are still very crucial for students who are still playing, finding themselves as a little boy are girl instead of a big boy are girl. Once in middle school learning goes from adding, subtracting, mutiplication and division to fractions, problem solving and upper class work that is more challenging.Students are very determined to do what ever is making them motivated, by helping them define before leaving elementary helps in a huge way.
