Starting an Elementary School book
I would like to promote a passion for reading in our school by creating a time when students could gather to discuss wonderful literature! I would love to hear from anyone who might have a similar "club" in their school regarding organization (how books were selected, format of meeting time, groupings of students, etc.) Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

First of all , i must say you are doing a great job. Personally, i don't have any kind of club as such, but my daughter is presently studying in Middleton school in grade 2. I have noticed that the school conducts competition every month and the student with the best reading capability gets an award. I think you must visit such kinds of school, and you might get some ideas from them.
