In the past, conversations about technology use often were "K-12" and did not include preschool. This is shifting, as multi-touch devices are increasingly being used by very young children. Please do check out the announcement below, and share to benefit young children in your communities... ****************************************************************************** The NAEYC Technology and Young Children Interest Forum would like to support and promote the recent joint position statement from NAEYC and the Fred Rogers Center, Technology and Interactive Media as Tools in Early Childhood Programs Serving Children from Birth through Age 8. This document provides important guidance for early childhood educators, and is accompanied by companion resources; Examples of effective practice, a Key Messages handout, Pre-recorded Webcast, and Selected Resources that offer valuable new information for the field.
