Redesigning Education or Using Common Sense to Make School Work
First, hire great teachers that care.
Then get the heck out of their hair!
They know what will work.
If stumped, then they lurk
Around master mentors who share.

Good Teachers Know Best!
There once was a federal rule
On how teachers should teach while in school.
But good teachers know best
Not to teach to a test
Guided learning's the valuable tool.

Librarians make reading appealing,
Finding books to go with each feeling!
It would be really cool
To have librarians in each school
Because kids' scores would go through the ceiling!
Inspiration Ignited
In a class the students’ teacher inspires
And passion for inquiry never will tire.
Opportunities never blighted
Multiple intelligences ignited
High expectations are for why they aspire!

They engaged with their classmates,
with teachers and debates,
and became those who could lead the way.
humor!

The more you learn, the more
The more you learn,
the more you will earn,
and the more you know,
the higher you will go,
So---------
GO-Go-GO.
Limerick
There once was a man in D. C.
Who mandated NCLB
Many teachers were trained
If funding was attained
And the rest were left out in the rain.
