April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate the month, we're having a fun poetry contest.
Here's how it works:
:: Post your limerick on how to best improve education below :: Invite others to vote on your limerick. Redesigning Education or Using Common Sense to Make School Work

There once was a federal rule
On how teachers should teach while in school.
But good teachers know best
Not to teach to a test
Guided learning's the valuable tool.
Dewey or Dewey Not?
Librarians make reading appealing,
Finding books to go with each feeling!
It would be really cool
To have librarians in each school
Because kids' scores would go through the ceiling!

In a class the students’ teacher inspires
And passion for inquiry never will tire.
Opportunities never blighted

High expectations are for why they aspire!
