Recent edweek study
Did anyone here see the recent edweek study?
It found that 40 percent of teachers describe themselves as "disheartened" 37 percent described themselves as "contented," and only 23 percent identify as "idealists." What are the forces at play here? Why are teachers so down (at least statistically), and what can be done about this?
