It doesn't matter if you're using DonorsChoose, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or something else entirely, tell us about your crowdfunding projects. Please include your link(s) as well, since we'd like to promote this list far and wide!

Use promo code SPARK when you check out to have your donation matched!!! (until 4/14).

Hi Everyone,

I am attempting to raise some funds for my classroom. We have been using a student response system in class for years now. The kids love it, they each get there own little "clicker" that they keep at their desk and everyone answers all of the questions that I ask (rather than students raising there hands and then me calling on only one of them at a time). They are great because it makes learning like a game and it allows everyone to participate in class in a low stress way. Even kids that might not typically raise their hands get to answer questions, and I get instant feedback about how everyone is doing. This lets me know when we have mastered a concept and can move on or if we need a bit more review.

Unfortunately the manufacturer of our system has discontinued our model and the software that they use is no longer supported. At this point they have pretty much stopped working all together. Unfortunately public school budgets are not what they used to be, and the price point of a new set makes it impossible for me to replace them.

I set up a project on DonorsChoice.org in an attempt to replace them for my kiddos. For the next 5 days, if you enter the code SPARK when you check out, your donation will be matched. The link is: www.donorschoice.org/msfumicello

Hello Friends,

I have posted a grant proposal on my students' behalf in an effort to bring some much needed technology into out classroom. I teach in a small charter high school in Watts, California, where resources and opportunities are extremely limited for students of color. By contributing to this grant, you will be helping to give the 100+ 11th graders that I teach both technological and literacy skills, that will aid them both inside and outside of the classroom.

Even more exciting, anyone who donates to my classroom by April 21, 2015 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org. Just enter the code SPARK on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100).

Thank you for your time and consideration!

Hey All!

I am launching into a crazy adventure. I just found out that my Robotics Team made it to the World Championship. The 2015 FRC Championship is larger this year than in previous years. There will be 600 teams comprising of over 17,000 students competing on different playing fields working their way up to the finals. The competition is being hosted at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis Missouri. The theme this year RECYCLE RUSH a recycling-themed game played by two Alliances of four robots each (one being a back up). Robots score points by stacking Totes on Scoring Platforms, capping those stacks with Recycling Containers, and properly disposing of pool noodles, representing Litter.

This has been an excellent season for SERT. We placed at both of our District Competitions and qualified for the District Championships. We also won the Creativity Award at the Oregon City competition and the Excellence in Engineering Award at the Philomath competition. We finished the season ranked 34th out of 153 competing teams and as the first alternate team for the FRC Championship in St. Louis. I have a week to fund raise. So check out my RocketHub Project! Any help is greatly appreciated! Please spread the word if you can it would be oh so helpful.

Hello, I'm an online arts and crafts instructor and I am currently creating a book to promote creative design and upcycling with cardboard. My book will showcase never before seen practical and useful DIY concepts that can be made out of just cardboard and glue. I have launched a campaign to help finalize this book on Gofundme.com with a very modest and realistic goal. Please visit and see what you think about this initiative. Thank you for visiting: http://www.gofundme.com/rbn78gw

Hi everyone!

My team at Caravan Studios, a division of TechSoup, is in the final days of our crowdfunding campaign to help youth find free meals and safe places to hang out in the summer months. We launched Range (www.rangeapp.org) last summer to help find free summer meals for youth who rely on the school lunches program. This summer, we're adding libraries to the app, as safe places for youth when school is closed. Please help us raise $10,000 to add libraries hours and location info to our app.

The campaign ends May 31st, so we'd love it if you could help us by making a donation and sharing the campaign now with your networks. no donation is too small! Thanks.

Donate and share at http://bit.ly/rangecampaign
