Author of "Actualized Learning," a vision for effective reform by restructuring the learning environments in our schools, so all children can realize their potential.

The key to true reform is restructuring the learning environments. We are stuck in an antiquated system that fails to guide students to the realization of their full potential. I recently finished a book, Actualized Learning, that provides a detailed blueprint for doing just that. Learners should be engaged within contexts that replicate and prepare them for the key facets of their lives. They should progress flexibly and appropriately. They should be evaluated in ways that illuminate their potential. The expense of effectively publishing and distributing this book are daunting. You can contribute to future generations by going to https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/actualized-learning/x/9545377
You can also learn more about this unique concept by visiting http://actualizedlearning.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/actualizedlearning
Thank you

At CritterKin we are partnered with a global community of educators to raise funding for the "Not Perfect Hat Club" (NPHC) Project, created by author/illustrator Jena Ball, and it is on the Pubslush platform: https://Pubslush.com/project/4118.
The idea behind the project is to help kids understand that "perfect is not an option" and discover ways to celebrate and enjoy the things that make them uniquely and perfectly Not Perfect! It's described by Jena (a.ka. Ms. Jenaia to her young fans & teachers) in a TouchCast video: http://notperfecthatclub.com/

The goal of the Pubslush campaign is to complete the NPHC book, illustrations, teaching materials, and the PBL initiative for classrooms. It has the support of the Global Classroom Project 2015, individual teachers, principals, parents and other partner organizations.
The Not Perfect Hat Club is first and foremost an engaging, entertaining, imaginative story by Jena Ball and a song! The project is dedicated to growing a global movement, to create - A place where EVERY kid can hang a hat! We're asking everyone to: "Pass the Hat for the Not Perfect Hat Club." Thank You!

My kids love learning - but they REALLY love playing video games! Why not let them do both? I'm trying to get MinecraftEdu licenses for my class to connect content to their interests. Check it out! And let me know if you have any questions about getting into gamification! http://tilt.tc/8pxw

My project is dollar for dollar because of SPARK, so whenever you donate some money, SPARK will donate that exact same amount. This is a wonderful opportunity for me! Your donations are also tax-deductible, so I encourage you to support me! All donations are greatly appreciated! I am a BRAND new teacher this year at a district where we don't have many resources. I am asking for your help to support me and promote me to friends that might help.
I teach elementary special education and I am trying to build up an awesome program that people love! We are working so hard as a team at this school, but we don't have the funds.

Please help us or share us with your friends! Thank you all for supporting education!

If you donate before January 29th, use the promo code SPARK and they will double your donations!
