Hi there! I teach art at a high poverty school on the South side of Chicago, and funding for the arts has dramatically dropped on the priority scale. Usually we are able to make art out of anything, but right now we do not even have the most basic art supply: PAPER! I have a donors choose project listed to remedy the problem - please help out if you have the means! Using the promo code SPARK will double your contribution!

Please pardon the bad pun. I'm a fan of math jokes.

Hi! I work at a high poverty alternative high school in Greenville, SC and I am working very hard to get a set of 10 TI-84 calculators for my math class to use. We really need some because, as you probably remember, most of the higher level math courses require graphing calculators, and my students simply cannot afford one of their own. Having a small classroom set of calculators for my class to share would be a valuable resource for my students.

Thank you for reading this post. If you donate between today and 8/29/15 and enter the code word "SPARK", the donation will be doubled. I, as well as my students, will be very grateful.

Have a great day!

K. Adams

I'm a new junior high school teacher at Florentino Camaquin Integrated School located in a town named Vintar in the province of Ilocos Norte, found somewhere in the northern part of the Philippines. My classroom badly needs a renovation.

Some of windows are broken. The toilet floor drain is clogged. The ceiling is damaged by a leak due to past typhoons that hit the area. The white board needs a replacement. The walls have to be repainted. And there are only a few chairs for the students.

Make my classroom a REAL classroom.

Please help! Our project only needs $170 to fund.

Education changes lives. Please helps get us get technology to include labs & computer programming in our science class. These activities involve skills that prepare students for college & careers. This gives a chance for good jobs, something so needed in our community.

Please help! We only need $30 now to fund our project! We want to include this for all of our students and the materials can be re-used every year so the number of students this will help is endless.

I'm running with Team Lifeline to raise money for Chai Lifeline, and I need your help.

Chai Lifeline is a wonderful organization that provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,300 children and their families every year. Chai Lifeline's programs and activities changes their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha (and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special); every year these two camps offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again.

I am running the Miami Marathon and Half-Marathon on their behalf. The training isn't easy, and the race itself will be quite a challenge too, but I am truly inspired by these children and their daily battle with life threatening or chronic illnesses. I plan to raise over $3600 by race day, and I hope you will help me reach this goal by making a generous tax-deductible donation.

Your support is a critical part of this effort and I know that together we can make a difference to these children. All donations are 100% tax-deductible, and the Team Lifeline website ( makes donations quick, easy, and secure. Making a donation will only take a minute, so please donate today.

Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.

I look forward to keeping you informed of my progress as a runner.

Best regards
Fayge Finkelstein

Hi fellow teachers/superheroes!
I am currently trying to fund a project called "The Graphic Novel". I teach at a high poverty district near Denver, CO. My students consist of primarily male ELL students. I work closely with our ELL teacher and have read many strategies for teaching ELL's. We recently gave the students a survey on what types of books would encourage them to read. Not surprisingly, they answered graphic novels. These books are high interest and easy to read. I did some research for the best graphic novels to use in the high school classroom and created a donors choose to buy them. I KNOW that my students will love and appreciate these books.

For the next 4 days, donors choose will match any donation you give when you use the code "SPARK". ANYTHING helps--even the smallest donation. Thank you so much.

Just want to thank all for the help, we went past our goal of $200,000. Becoming one of the largest education indiegogo funded campaigns ever!

Thank you all for all the questions and kind worded emails. We couldn't have done it without your support.

Thank you.

My students need PSSA workbooks to help meet the Common Core Standards. These workbooks will be used to supplement our current reading series.
By the end of the year, I would like to see my students do their very best on the PSSA test. Once students see what they can accomplish, their self-confidence will rise and they will feel more successful. These new standards are challenging. I want to do everything I can to help my students succeed!

Give to my classroom by September 10, 2015 and your donation will be doubled thanks to Just enter the code SPARK on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100).

Thank you for the opportunity to share! I had some success with Donors Choose last year during my first year teaching. Currently, I have a project going for new puzzles. My Early Childhood Special Education classroom has puzzles but most are very old, dirty, and missing many pieces. My kiddos get so sad when they get to the end of the puzzle but they can't finish it because of a piece being gone. We were supposed to be able to order some new ones, but two separate break-ins at our school have resulted in all extra money going to replace gone technology. Any little bit helps and my project is up for the INSPIRE code until July 16th!
