The donations to my project will greatly help to create an authentic, engaging, and personalized learning space for my students. As my students utilize their devices to extend their learning beyond the traditional classroom walls, I want nothing more than our classroom space to reflect the unique learning that is taking place. In order to achieve a personalized and engaging learning environment, I need to supply my classroom with additional non-traditional seating options. The seating I am seeking to add to my classroom will further allow students to make choices on how they learn best - whether that is in traditional desks or utilizing furniture that may even be seen at a coffeehouse!
Students will have the chance to choose seating that allows and encourages collaboration while helping to engage students in the academic tasks they are working to achieve.

I'm passionate about teaching and my kids, and I would love to be able to bring more unique furniture into my classroom to help add to my classroom environment. Please consider donating to my project or even sharing it with those around you. Thank you so much for thinking of me and please let me know if you have any questions!

Montessori Now... and Forever

Please SHARE our campaign! https://www.youcaring.com/RidgelineMontessori

As a K-8 community-based, nonprofit public charter school, Ridgeline Montessori receives 20% less instructional funding than other Oregon public schools and must provide its own building. Help us buy our building so we'll always have a place to call home!

Kids need Montessori. Kids love Montessori. You can keep Montessori accessible to all kids!

Computer Science with Kindle Fires for Everyone

I have a project posted for a class set of Kindle Fires with cases for my students next school year. They will have access to them and can take them home to use. This will be a major step in the right direction for providing all students with the materials, resources, and devices that they need to be success.

We have 40 donors and a matching funds offer that will expire soon. If it does then this project goes back over $1600. We only need $600.

I have just posted my first project to Donors Choose! I am working to get STEM kits along with some math and science manipulatives for my cooperative teaching classroom. They will provide my students with enrichment activities and help them to build Twenty-first Century Skills!
My project is called, Developing Innovative and Creative Thinkers for the Twenty-First Century, and here is my link:
