Hello Edutopia Community!

I'm developing a campaign to teach the fundamentals of electronics serial communication. As someone that is self taught in electronics design, I deeply appreciate how difficult it can be to learn topics like this. My goal is to increase the confidence in those who participate, so that they can pick up any electronics sensor they want to work with, decipher the datasheet, and begin creating independently.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or feedback!

I Develop usefull tools which can assist someone who is targeted by Bullies

My new android anti-bully apps are on Google Play. Bully Proof Assistant For All is an android app which can be used to keep an accurate record of all bullied activity and able to send emergency message to people who can immediately come to a person's aid. We have an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for creating a non-profit org, to get an apple computer, and to work on helping others who find themselves being targeted by bullies.

My Name is Joanna Treadwell, I'm asking for donations to help fund a facility so I can teach others how to cook, bake, sew and hold classes so children as young as 5 years old can learn the life skills so many people are lacking at this point in time. Having Family Time Classes: ie: preparing and cooking classes as a family quality time together. Having a mentor program for children to kids of all ages to have a safe fun place to go and learn these life skills. I see so many young kids these days not knowing what the inside of a kitchen should look like. It amazes me that so much of our community isn't taking the time to teach kids and young adults how to prepare themselves for the real world. Seeing this first hand at my children's school and the parental involvement amazes and blows me away.

My goal is to have a Country Kitchen / crafting shop/ with enough room for a self-stainable vegetable gardens so I can teach others my passion for cooking, baking, sewing. I have taught kids and children along with disabled the life skills they need to continue to grow and take pride and joy in what they can accomplish. The money for the Shop would get us up and running and after the donation goal is reached to keep the bills paid that is where the store front comes into play. The store front would be used to sell products that the store uses for the classes to teach the course and my skills of baking, decorating, and sewing would be used to sell goods to the public, and sales from the vegetable gardens would keep the store up and running.

Any amount of donation would greatly be appreciated and after the store and project is up and running being able to pay it forward is my long term goal.

If you are interested in donating or have questions about my cause please feel free to contact me anytime.

Thank you,
Joanna Treadwell

5th Grade Teacher

"iPads for Boys in St. Louis Classroom" www.GoFundMe.com/eihsmo

Hello, my name is Jim Triplett, and I teach a gender-based classroom of 5th grade boys, in the St. Louis Public School District. I've been with these young men since 3rd grade, looped to 4th grade with them last year, and this year I looped again to 5th grade. I'm trying to raise funds to get iPads for each of my students, so they can learn and be engaged through the use of technology. Please visit my GoFundMe page to support through giving, and to see a picture and a video of the students who you would be helping! Thanks in advance!

5th Grade ELA/SS Teacher

This is my first year teaching 5th grade. I have taught 3rd grade for the past 7 years in a different school district. I would love to create a learning environment centered around technology and have started taking the steps toward this process by creating a donorschoose project. Please check out my first project. If you would like to give, make sure you enter the code INSPIRE at checkout to have your gift doubled. This code will only last until September 21.

Our class has an amazing chance to receive some tablets that will allow us to create and share new learning outside of our classroom walls. We are excited to share our learning and your generosity could help us get there. We have a matching grant so we only need to raise $240 to fully fund the grant. Make sure you use the code INSPIRE since it will double your money. That means we only need 6 people to donate $20 and use the code INSPIRE which will double their money . It could even be 12 people to donate just $10 and use the code INSPIRE to double their money and we will fund the project.

Thanks for your generosity and donorschoose.org for the great opportunities!
