ipads & their use for students diagnosed with ASD/autism
I am looking for current research, articles, etc. about the use of AND success with ipads as assistive technology for students diagnosed with A.S.D./autism. The numbers of students within our corporation who have been diagnosed with this(these) disorder(s) is growing exponentially. Any info would be appreciated !

I believe my new Educational
I believe my new Educational iPad App 'Alligators' may be useful to some Special Ed kids.
It is now available in the iTunes App Store. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alligators/id418557241?mt=8. I hope to develop many more titles in the future and I would appreciate any feedback.
iPads as assistive Tech.
I will have to look to see if I still have the articles pertaining to iPads use in teaching students with ASD's. There is a app called Proloquo2Go that is also available on the iPod touch and iPhone. It is an incredible app that is a full functioning ACC device. The app costs $190.00, but compared to a Dynavox device the Proloqou2Go blows it away with the ease of customizing it's use. By the way the Dynavox cost is $8,000.00 and it is huge & heavy compared to the iPad, or iPod touch.
