I am a veteran Homeschool Mom & entrepreneur. It is often difficult to make each day a success in all areas & I do use tutors for a lot of subjects. I have an 18, 16 & 9 year old. I have tried to instill in them the willingness to pursue their dream & will gladly continue to help them as long as they are working towards that dream but if this means taking some time off , that is ok too, as I do not want them to repeat some of the mistakes that I made when I was being educated. We have taught cultural diversity, to include many of the disciplines of the Tibetans & Japanese. My oldest son wishes to become a Music Therapist & I am hoping that he joins this group to help him in his educational pursuits. I am always looking for opportunities to help my children & our business which is www.gatorlandk9.com. as we work service dogs for special needs children & adults with PTSD, as well as Therapy Dogs & Police K9. I look forward to hearing from anyone who shares my interests which I have a lot of, too many to llst here. I am on my iPad so will get to a PC soon to upload profile info .

Hi Ellen,

You may wish to get in contact with a museum as they maybe a resource for studying Asian history. If you reside near any Japantowns you may access some of their resources on Japanese in America. There may be cultural institutions that reside in that geographical location.
